    << Return to news list At EDC's Regular Monthly Meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 Superintendent Dr. Doug Huntley presented on the development of multiple pathways to graduation, which includes the implementation of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme at Queensbury High School, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and Early College Career Academy at SUNY Adirondack with connection to future employers through internships, job-shadowing and mentorship. Assistant Superintendent for Business Scott Whittemore attended this meeting.
    This is the 1st in series of discussions on education EDC will host.

    EDC thanks Dr. Huntley for making the time in his schedule to participate and his expertise in Tuesday's presentation along with his outstanding leadership and dedication to our community.
    EDC President Ed Bartholomew provided an update at Tuesday's meeting on EDC recent activities including a marketing plan for exits 18 and 19 and continued promotion and attraction efforts of  Carey Industrial Park, Native Textiles Building Carey Park and Queensbury Business Park.  EDC has prepared video clips for all three to be used in a variety of interactive marketing projects being planned.
